Fourth Avenue Underpass Construction Alert Travel Restrictions

This is a continuing series of construction alerts that will be issued throughout the construction of the Fourth Avenue Underpass Improvement Project. These alerts will announce construction, detour and closure information as it affects traffic. Motorists are asked to obey all posted speed limit signs within the construction area and be alert for construction crews and personnel working in the area.

PLEASE NOTE: OTHER DOWNTOWN CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITY UNRELATED TO THE FOURTH AVENUE UNDERPASS PROJECT MAY ALSO AFFECT TRAFFIC.

Beginning at 9 a.m., Tuesday, October 6, 2009 through 3 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2009, traffic along North Toole Avenue between Congress Street and Fifth Avenue will be shifted in order to allow crews to make adjustments to manhole covers along Toole Avenue. Turning movements and access to businesses will not be affected.
