Sixth Avenue Closure Downtown

On Friday, September 11, 2009, beginning at 7 p.m., Sixth Avenue downtown between Pennington Street and Alameda Street will be closed to travel to allow work crews to install a crane in the street to complete utility work atop the Qwest building. This closure is scheduled to be in place until 6 a.m., Monday, September 14, 2009.
Northbound travel on Sixth Avenue will be redirected east or west onto Pennington Street during this closure. Message boards will be in place to inform motorists of this closure.
For your safety, please observe all traffic control signage, message boards, and obey reduced speed limits. Watch for construction personnel and equipment in the work zone.
