Church Avenue And Alameda Street Traffic Signal Outage

On Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at 9:30 a.m., crews from the City of Tucson Department of Transportation Streets and Traffic Maintenance Division and Tucson Electric Power Co. will begin work to replace damaged underground wiring that feeds electricity to the traffic signals at Church Avenue and Alameda Street.
Because of the damaged wire, the traffic signals at the intersection are not functioning. The date and time that the repairs are scheduled to be complete are not available at this time. Until the work is complete, temporary stop signs are in place at the intersection creating a four-way stop.
