Swan Road Closure at 22nd Street

Overhead electrical work being conducted by Tucson Electric Power (TEP) Co. crews will require the complete closure of both northbound and southbound travel on Swan Road from 22nd Street north to Douglas Street, which is approximately 1,000 feet north of 22nd Street. The closure is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2009 until 7 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2009.
TEP crews will be replacing curbside power poles and electrical lines that stretch diagonally across northbound and southbound Swan Road travel lanes. The complete closure is in place for the safety of the traveling public and TEP workers.
Motorists should use Craycroft Road or Alvernon Way as an alternate route. Electronic message boards are in place to give motorists advance notification of this closure.
