Columbus Boulevard Closure: Water Line Repair

Beginning on Monday, February 2, 2009, Columbus Boulevard between Holmes Street and Sixth Street will be closed to travel to allow work crews to repair and evaluate the condition of a 54-inch water line. The work and street closure is scheduled to last approximately two weeks.
Columbus Boulevard between Broadway and Fifth Street is open to residents who live in the area or local traffic only. For more information on this Tucson Water project, contact Mitch Basefsky at 791-4331.
The traveling public can expect delays when driving, bicycling or walking in this work area. For your safety, please observe all traffic control signage, message boards, and obey reduced speed limits. Watch for construction personnel and equipment in the work zone.
